Από το Майстерня хорарного астролога

John Frawley is a traditional astrologer who made his invaluable contribution to the development of methods and popularization of horary astrology, giving it not only a new life, but also a drive and a high level of achievement.
His tips, used by horary astrologers all over the world, are simple and clear:
use your common sense;
- keep it simple, stupid;
- don’t dab the chart with your fingers.

The reason for his success is his witty critical mind, frantic working capacity, and the accuracy of his predictions.

John Frawley is the author of some books that have become bestsellers today: The Real Astrology, The Real Astrology Applied, The Horary Textbook and Sports Astrology. In the late 1990s, he did a good deal of TV work and also published more than 20 issues of The Astrologer's Apprentice magazine.

Even if he was the author of only one book – The Horary Textbook – it would be enough for him to enter and rewrite the history of astrology.

Frawley's natal techniques are also characterized by innovative and critical approaches to traditional sources. As you know, all new is well forgotten old. And John's review of this ancient stuff gives us the opportunity to get a perfect crystallized product.

So, this spring John Frawley with a seminar in Kyiv.

How Do We Read the Birthchart?

Our birthchart gives the basic blueprint for how we interact with life. It shows the structure of our being, the structure that distinguishes Me from You, tells how Me and You will act differently when faced with similar situations.
So how do we find this structure in the chart? John first discusses the fundamentals: the effect of the prenatal eclipse; what the ancients referred to as ‘wit and manner’, and how we find these in the chart; how to know which planets shout loudest; and the crucial, but often neglected, subject of what is shown in the birthchart and what is not. There will be a particular emphasis on the role of the seven key Arabian Parts in the chart – a role every bit as important as that of the planets themselves. And a discussion of concepts such as temperament, the Lord of the Geniture, and – probably the most misunderstood term in astrology! – retrogradation.
This gives the broad outlines, but it is only when we watch the chart unfolding as time passes, like a flower opening from a bud, that we see the details. John will then show how progressions, solar returns and lunar returns relate to each other to provide a precise and extremely eloquent picture of the events of the life. As the examples he uses show, these statements can be so clear – if only we know how to read them.
